March - 1. April 07

CANDY WRAPPER ART AND STILL LIFE PAINTINGS

About awareness - to see – seeing - Everything we look at surrounding us each day, and yet we really don't see it - because it appears in a relationship, where we have stopped seeing.
If you attribute meaning to things, then they have meaning. If you give love, you receive love.

Yuko Takada Keller
POINTILLISM IN THE AIR
When I make my three-dimensional work, I imagine how interesting it would
be if I could draw a picture in the air with colours. I will construct three installations in three rooms based on this creative intention. Minute pieces of tracing paper are the molecules in the air. I want people to enjoy the floating, ethereal pieces.
On the walls I will present a series of framed works and small creatures created with tiny triangle pieces – imaginative gifts for your cozy Christmas.

12. January - 17. February 2008
Ellen Christensen
QUITE HER OWN

To describe Ellen Christensen as an artist one can say she is a loving soul combined with a temper, which forces her beyond the confines of norm - physically in her painting and  figuratively speaking beyond the boundaries of "normality".  As the poet Piet Hein said about his cat: "She's quite her own" - which can easily be used to describe Ellen Christensen.

Bertine Knudsen & Ole Valdemar Nielsen

THE SURPRISING BEAUTY OF COINCIDENCE

Paintings
The kinship between Bertine's and Ole's paintings is quite amazing.
We didn't know this beforehand, but there is a certain perfection in this meeting.
Their work has the same surprising beauty, which maybe isn't so coincidental.
